Is IX Web Hosting Any Good?

So the question we’re asking; is IX web-hosting any good? Well, just like you I am skeptical about buying new products online. Even if that product is web hosting, I don’t like to waste my time or my. I like to do a lot of research before I pull out my credit card, I like to look for five things. Price? Speed? Storage? Reviews? Credibility?

Price: Simply put, how much does the product cost; IX web hosting is one of (if not the) cheapest hosting companies around. IX have quality hosting packages starting at $3.95us, that’s just incredible compared to other companies.

Storage: For the cheapest hosting package you’re offered a massive 300gb’s of data storage, now; we all know that, that is a lot!

Reviews: I do general Google searches for reviews of a web site hosting companies before I purchase their product. We’ll after doing such searches for IX web hosting, I am met with hundreds of happy reviews. So this is exactly what I’m looking for in a web hosting company.

Credibility: A Company’s credibility is extremely important, you don’t want to waste or even lose your precious money. IX web hosting has great credibility, so you don’t have to worry.

Speed: How fast is the hosting? Basically I ask around for people to provide me with links to web sites that are currently hosted by the company. So, as far as I’m concerned, my money and time is well worth IX web hosting. I bet you won’t be able to find a better web site hosting company out there. But if you do; I advice you buy their product.

Website Basics for Internet Beginners

Starting an Internet business doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. There are a few basics that are absolutes. Registering a business or company name and acquiring an address for the business to operate at are required. The Internet business website can start with just a page or two and grow as needed.

Web Domains and Internet Business Hosting

In order to be successful in Internet marketing, you’ll need to establish a business name and invest in a web domain. For those new to online business, the simplest way to begin is to get both name and host at the same place. Sometimes names are cheaper at one website while hosting is less expensive somewhere else.

If name and domain (Internet address) are purchased separately, the name must be pointed in the direction of the address. This requires changing settings inside the account.

While it isn’t difficult to do so with many name providers, there are a few who make the process a nightmare. It can also take a few days, meaning a delay in getting the business online.

Keeping name and address at one place means there are no changes to make and no extended delay. Billing issues are also confined to the one place. There’s less worry about keeping up with name renewal or hosting renewal.

Internet Names are usually paid for on a yearly basis. Billing for Internet hosting depends on the web hosts. Some allow monthly payments, while others won’t accept anything less than a year at a time. If budget is a consideration, choose a web hosting provider who accepts monthly payments. The payment frequency can always be changed once the business is producing income.

Internet Business Website Design

There are basically two ways to design an Internet business website. Self-design or design by someone else. Free website templates abound on the web. Some web hosting companies provide web design software and tools in addition to hosting.

Consider the tools offered by the web hosting company. If the tool is difficult to use or does not provide any templates that appear relevant to the intended site, consider using a downloaded template or having a website designed.

In order to design a website, an HTML editor or other software is needed. Some programs such as Microsoft Office contain a website designer built in. There are free HTML editors available online for downloading.

There is a learning curve to web design. If time is an issue, it may be necessary to find even a low-cost website template that requires little change. While few Internet business websites remain the same from day one, it is important to have the best design possible.

Visitors judge Internet business websites by appearance, provided information and functionality. If the page takes too long to load, visitors don’t wait. If the page is ugly, too crowded or full of spelling errors, visitors leave. If links result in error messages instead of completed pages, visitors leave.

Internet Business Website Basics

Basic website contents include business name, contact information, legal disclaimer and privacy policy, email list signup box, copyright notice and products or services.

Standard Internet business website disclaimers and other basic legal materials are available free for download. It’s always wise to consult legal counsel for the creation of policies and procedures.

Some hosting services provide email signup boxes and autoresponders (software to manage email). There are also free and paid providers.

Contact information and legal information is important. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has strict policies regarding websites. It’s wise to obey them. The policies can be found online. There are also software programs that help businesses ensure that websites are legal.

The business name should be prominent and easy to read.

The first things a business needs to operate online are a registered name and a website address. A basic website can start simple and grow as needed. Adhering to FTC requirements is a must.

Domain Parking and Monetization Secret - Reasons Why Why Parking Companies Terminate Accounts

While there is no doubt that domain monetization is lucrative, most domainers are biting their fingers because their account was terminated. If your account was terminated, then check your practices as it could likely be your fault.

Domain parking and monetization is the strong alternative to google adsense. It is easy as it requires no adsense set up or sophisticated software set up or web site. However, you will need to take it as your business and handle your portfolio with all sense of responsibility. The following are some preventable and avoidable reasons why parking companies could terminate your account.

1. Click Fraud: Newbie domainers are of the practice of parking their domains and clicking the ad links themselves or asking their friends to click for them to generate earnings. Unknown to them, parking companies and their partner search engines have software and data centers that monitor click fraud based on online behavior and ip. Once a domain owner continues to click on his domain, the ip is recorded and this could lead to the termination of his portfolio.

2. Surfing/Rotation Sites: Domain parking companies and their partner search engines will terminate your account once you add them to paid-to-surf or surf-for-credit rotation sites where you earn credits and the site rotate your domain also. For example, do not add your parked domain to ts25.com and its likes.

3. Illegal linking: Most domainers do not read the TOS of parking company and so lack what to do in order to earn or in order to avoid illegal practices. While some companies encourage domainers to send traffic to them their parked domains through various ways, some parking companies strictly would want domainers to adhere to natural traffic only.

So when you are ready to start your domain monetization business, take good caution so you can earn unending income and enjoy it and avoid your portfolio being terminated. Think of future factors as this will guide you.
